1 teaspoon chilli sauce or
as much as you can take
freshly ground pepper to taste
2 tablespoons soy sauce
3 tablespoons sesame paste
1 tablespoon sesame oil
2 tablespoons vinegar
Method:
Mix well together all the
ingredients, except for the noodles, garlic and spring onions. Add
pepper to taste. Divide the mixture and put into five separate noodles
bowls.
Boil the noodles for 10-15 minutes or
according to instructions on the packet. Drain and while still
steaming hot, divide into five portions and place on top of the
ingredients already in the bowls. Sprinkle with the finely chopped
spring onions and the finely chopped garlic.
Each person can then toss the noodles
with the mixture at the bottom of the bowls and the seasoning
together.
This dish is extremely good as a
snack and very satisfying, just like the "mines touni" we
use to have in the Chinese restaurants in Port Louis.
